Arnold brings policy analysis, campaign management, and community relations expertise to the firm

Frankfort, Ky. (June 3, 2024) – McCarthy Strategic Solutions, LLC announced today the hiring of Megan Sparrow Arnold as Assistant Principal, effective June 1, 2024.

For half a decade, Arnold has developed a versatile professional background consisting of public policy and communications development, congressional grassroots efforts, and fundraising management.

Arnold served in the Office of the Speaker in the Kentucky House of Representatives in multiple capacities with the most recent being policy analyst in which she conducted research and drafted policy with a focus on public health, child welfare, insurance, pharmaceuticals, and public assistance. She also served as communications specialist in the Speaker’s Office, drafting communications pieces, conducting research, and analyzing policy for the House Majority Caucus. She began her time at the Speaker’s Office as House Majority Leadership staff during the 2020 Regular Session.

She also brings congressional and community relations expertise to the firm through her role as Regional Political Director for Congressman Andy Barr’s 2020 reelection campaign where she directed grassroots operations for seven counties and managed volunteer opportunities, rallies, and speaking engagements for the Congressman.

Prior, Arnold worked as philanthropy officer then as supervisor in the Office of Philanthropy at the University of Kentucky for several years where she authored call scripts and recruited, trained, and managed over 50 student callers and over 20 university funds.
