FRANKFORT, KY. (October 25, 2021) – McCarthy Strategic Solutions, LLC has announced that Morgan P’Pool will join the firm as its first Director of Communications and Client Experience (DOC) effective Monday, October 25, 2021.
Morgan brings a multifaceted professional background to the firm with over five years of strategic communications experience in both the private and public sectors. Since 2018, she has served as the Deputy Director of Communications for the Kentucky Senate Majority, where she primarily oversaw the development and distribution of written content for its 30 caucus members. Before her time in state government, Morgan spent the initial months of her career in Louisville with RunSwitch Public Relations and assisted with social media marketing, event promotions, and public advocacy for state-wide efforts including Marsy’s Law for Kentucky.
Her interest in government affairs and policy-making stems from her upbringing surrounded by political influence, notably during the 2011 state executive official elections, where she was able to volunteer and closely observe Republican campaign efforts. While continuing to be involved with young republican organizations, Morgan opted to earn a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Strategic Communications from the University of Kentucky. This program allowed for a diversified understanding of mass media, account management, public relations, advertising, and other promotional channels. During her final semester, Morgan participated in a communications work-study program in the United Kingdom through Arcadia University, London, and TDC Public Relations. As a creative thinker, Morgan’s studies emphasized brand management, strategic concepts, technology, and innovation. Other related experience includes sponsorship promotions with brands such as Ford Motor Company and Kentucky Beverage Association.
The new role of DOC with McCarthy Strategic Solutions will be focused on public relations, legislative activity, and government affairs while implementing advanced client communications and promotional methods.
