Libby Milligan

Principal

For over a decade, Libby Milligan has worked at both the federal and state levels of government.  She served as Special Assistant to the Governor for Administration and Legislation to Governor Ernie Fletcher and as a member of his Senior Policy Committee.  With extensive experience in legislation and regulatory analysis, she understands the process and function of various departments of government.

In 2000, Libby began her career as Executive Assistant to former Kentucky Sixth District Congressman Ernie Fletcher in his District Office.  Following the 2003 general election, Libby worked as an aide to Governor Elect Ernie Fletcher during his transition and then went on to serve as Special Assistant to the Governor for Administration and Legislation during the Fletcher Administration.  As a member of the Governor’s Senior Policy Committee, Libby participated in developing a broad range of policy initiatives, policy analysis and coordination of legislation. In addition, she served as the Governor’s proxy to numerous boards and commissions including the Governor’s Fort Knox BRAC Task Force, the State Investment Commission, and the National Governor’s Association’s Policy Academy for State Strategies for Promoting Innovation Clusters and Regional Economies, and was appointed to the Kentucky Commission on Women.

Libby is a member of the Junior League of Louisville where she previously served on their board and was involved in numerous community projects throughout Louisville.  The Junior League of Louisville is a non-profit committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Political Science, Libby and her husband reside in Louisville, Kentucky with their son.
